A good rule of thumb is only three items per side table, coffee table, sofa table dresser, etc. clear off your kitchen counters and only leave a few items like a cookbook and a new colorful dish tower Buy a few new fresh towels for the baths and layer them. Add a few fresh pillows to the couch and throw in some "greenery" and you will have your home staged to sell.
